Welcome to ACTS, the Academy of Christian Training & Service, an online school of ministry dedicated to serving the ABCOPAD Region
OUR PURPOSE
The Academy of Christian Training and Service (ACTS) exists to equip members of ABCOPAD churches who currently
serve in a local congregation and/or who are discerning a call to ministry. We provide educational pathways for
both pastoral and lay ministry, along with continuing education opportunities to support
ongoing spiritual and professional development.
Enrollment is open to all members of ABCOPAD churches who desire to deepen their ministry skills
and theological understanding, regardless of their current level of education or experience. Our primary focus
is serving the ABCOPAD region, but we extend our educational resources to the broader American Baptist
community when circumstances permit.
Whether you are newly discerning a call to pastoral ministry or simply longing to better serve your local church, we invite you to consider how an ACTS education may be the next step the Lord is inviting you to take.
